Rock salt – You can use sea salt, Himalayan pink salt, kosher salt or rock salt. Salt acts as a base of purification and grounding.

Ingredients:

• ½ cup of rock salt
• 1 teaspoon of activated charcoal
• 5-7 eggshells
•  1 teaspoon clove powder  
• 1 teaspoon black pepper powder  
• 1 teaspoon incense ashes

Directions:

1. Begin by cleansing your space with incense smoke, preferably sage or rosemary.
2. Into a mortar, add rock salt and egg shells and crush them till coarsely ground. The crunch from the eggshells is so ASMR!
3. Next add 1 teaspoon of activated charcoal, 1 teaspoon of clove powder, 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder and 1 teaspoon of incense ashes.
4. Use the pestle to crush, grind and pulverize all the ingredients into a coarse salt-textured powder. Make it into as much of a fine powder as you can manage to get it to be. It’s so fun and therapeutic to watch your ingredients turn into powder form!
5. Once you reach a consistency that you’re happy with, your black salt is ready!
6. Store it in a clean dry jar.
